Introducing LaserVR™ Alpha Range, a video projector and laser pointer game available exclusively for iPhone, iPad, and iPod Touch. This is your chance to play a futuristic target shooting game on your wall! LaserVR™ Alpha Range is compatible with normal, low-powered laser pointers, and projectors with an iOS device connector.
How does it work?
============================
Your iOS device displays the game through the connected projector, and the back-facing camera watches the laser pointer dot on the wall! Its important to not move the iOS device or the projector during the game, so we highly recommend a tripod!
What do I need to play?
============================
You need four things to play,
(1) the iOS device you already have
(2) low-powered (< 5mw) red or green laser pointer (use fresh batteries!)
(3) video projector, with iOS device connector or adapter
(4) table-top tripod mount, with landscape support
Recommended tripods:
============================
iStabilizer Flex™ (iPhone / iPod Touch)

Bridge C-Pod (iPad / iPhone / iPod Touch)

Its important that you be able to adjust your iOS device, so that the camera can always keep the projected game in view. The best type of mount is usually made for taking landscape-orientation photos with your iOS device and is highly adjustable.
More information
============================
First of all, if you need any help, PLEASE contact [email protected], because we have answers (in English only).
- Never point a laser at another person! Follow the safety warnings on your laser pointer and projector. Adult supervision is highly recommended!
- Projectors have different brightness levels, measured in lumens, so if you have a low-brightness projector, you are going to have better results in a darker room, or you may need to bring the projector closer to the wall.
- For a very bright projector, you may need to reduce the brightness level on the projector itself. If you experience trouble, begin with a brightness value that is 25 percent of the maximum brightness, and then experiment with brighter settings. You must restart the game whenever you change your brightness setting, because it will require recalibration.
- During the day, sunlight causes more problems than indoor lights. Use a room with shades over all the windows, or better yet, a room without windows.
- Light colored walls, with a matte (non-glossy) surface work best.
- When you first connect the projector, the game will calibrate the screen with the camera. It is very important that you NOT shine the laser pointer on the wall during calibration. Do NOT move the iOS device or the projector during or after calibration. If you move them, then they lose track of their alignment! Just restart the app if this happens.
- If your laser pointer gets weak, or the dot becomes very small, you may want to check your batteries.
- You should play the game no more than 6 feet or 1.5 meters from the wall, because if the mobile camera is too far away from the wall, it will not be able to see the laser pointer dot! Start out close to the wall and then experiment with playing further away. Your results may vary based on lighting conditions, iOS device, laser pointer, and projector!
Now youre ready... take aim... FIRE LASERS!
